How do you create experiences of belonging for yourself?
I used my newsletter to reflect on a couple recent experiences where I found belonging in part because I chose to go in with an open mindset where I expected to belong. More at https://lnkd.in/gAGFiuB5
Expectations often create reality in that if I expect something not to work, I might quit at the first setback, whereas if I expect something to work, I will keep going and figure out ways around each setback. These experiences of belonging are a reminder that this applies in most interpersonal situations.
