“I thought of PSL today. My boss asked me to start working on a presentation for Sundar Pichai (now the #2 guy at Google after Larry Page), and instead of leaping straight in and generating content (as is my tendency that you all saw), I actually stopped myself, and asked my boss what, exactly, the question being asked was (e.g. “Can you tell me any more information?”). It elicited a bit more context so I could focus my efforts a little more. Always good to stop and think before acting, but it’s hard for me to remember, so I appreciate PSL for reminding me of the importance.
