What books have you bought but not read?
I asked this question in my newsletter this weekend (link in comments), but I’m curious what is in your reading list.
Here’s the list of books I bought on Kindle in the last month but haven’t read (Amazon knows how to target me with Kindle sales, unsurprisingly):
— Black AF History: The Un-Whitewashed Story of America, by Michael Harriot. I’m in the process of reading this one, as Harriot tells the story of America centered on Black and African American protagonists. Definitely not the history I learned in school.
— What the Buddha Taught, by Walpola Rahula
— Unreasonable Hospitality: The Remarkable Power of Giving People More Than They Expect, by Will Guidara
— Why Zebras Don’t Get Ulcers: The Acclaimed Guide to Stress, Stress-Related Diseases, and Coping, by Robert M. Sapolsky
— How Long ’til Black Future Month?, by N. K. Jemisin
— The Paper Menagerie and Other Stories, by Ken Liu
There’s hundreds more, of course, but those are the most recent impulse purchases. What about you?
