I released my book, You Have A Choice: Beyond Hard Work to Meaningful Impact,\u00a0a year ago, and I wanted to celebrate how the book has been making a difference.
\n— 60 people have given the book a 5-star rating on Amazon, and the reviews fill me with pride.
\n— Several readers have reached out to share how reading the book helped them significantly change their own lives.
\n— The picture below was posted recently in a Slack of a community with whom I did a book Q&A last year. <\/p>\n

While the book hasn’t been a best seller by any means, I’m delighted that it has helped the people that have read it, and has connected me to new people throughout the year, including being interviewed on dozens of podcasts. <\/p>\n

I’d love for it to help even more people, though, so to that end:<\/p>\n

— In honor of the book’s first birthday, I will give away a free electronic copy of the book (Kindle if in the US, PDF otherwise) to the first ten people who comment below. <\/p>\n

— If you’ve already read the book, please leave a rating or review on Amazon as a “birthday gift” – the book gains more credibility with the algorithm if it reaches 100 ratings, so every rating helps!<\/p>\n

— Either way, please recommend the book to people you know who are questioning their work, particularly if they are on the edge of burning out from working too hard. I wrote this book because I wish somebody had told me things could be different when I was burning out in 2011, and I’d love to help others avoid the suffering I went through. <\/p>\n
