And I ask them how they practiced, and they hadn&#8217;t &#8211; they thought they would be just good. I then encourage them to practice in lower stakes settings first so they&#8217;re ready for the high stakes meeting when it arrives.  <\/p>\n<p>I unintentionally did this as a podcast guest &#8211; unlike Shane, I am not famous so the only podcasts that would take me as a guest this year were small and low stakes.
