Goals are great as a way for clarifying for yourself what is important to you. But most goals are set around lagging indicators, which can only be measured after you have done the work.”<br \/>\n“”<br \/>\n“To achieve your goals requires converting your goals into intentions that guide your actions each day. ”<br \/>\n“”<br \/>\n“A year ago, I set a 2022 goal of writing a book. I totally failed at that goal, because it was too big and amorphous. But in October, I read Jennie Nash’s Blueprint for a Nonfiction Book, which helped me break down writing a book into much smaller and more attainable chunks. Instead of feeling like I have to write 50,000 words, which seemed impossible, I now focus on writing 500-1000 solid words each day, where each day’s writing is guided by a chapter outline I generated using the blueprint. ”<br \/>\n“”<br \/>\n“What daily or weekly actions can you take that will move you towards your goals? ”<br \/>\n“– If you want to increase your personal brand, how will you connect to more people on a weekly basis?”<br \/>\n“– If you want to make more money from your business, how will you create value for more customers?”<br \/>\n“– If you want to find a relationship, how will you meet more people? ”<br \/>\n“”<br \/>\n“Even if you don’t know the “right” answer, come up with a few ideas.
