I did that for a couple hours yesterday afternoon, but that made things worse, as I then felt even further behind, and my Inner Critic part started beating me up for being lazy. <\/p>\n<p>Today, I&#8217;m starting with easy tasks to get some momentum going, while acknowledging that I might not get it all done. But getting a few things done is better than getting nothing done. And while I have a couple stressful and ambiguous tasks, they can wait until I clear some headspace by doing a couple of the more straightforward tasks (like posting on LinkedIn \ud83d\ude42 ). <\/p>\n<p>Overwhelm is an interesting experience, because it can come from both external and internal sources. Sometimes I commit to too much, and that leads to overwhelm.
